Introduction
The "Clone Settings" feature in Boost AI Search & Discovery is designed to simplify your workflow and save valuable time when working with different themes. If you've spent time customizing a theme using our Visual Design Editor, you can effortlessly replicate those settings onto another theme, streamlining the process and eliminating the need to recreate your work from scratch. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to efficiently utilize the "Clone Settings" feature.
How to use
âš This feature only works with Boost AI Search & Discovery V3. To find out which version of our app you are using, please follow this article.
From the app's admin, go to Integration menu > select Shopify Integration > Find [Target Theme] > Select Edit Visual Design.
On the top right corner of the Visual Design Editor, click the "⋯" button > Clone setting.
Select the theme's settings that you'd like to clone. A pop-up box will appear, click Choose a theme > select the [Source theme] from the drop down list > click Next.
💡 The theme you select from this step is the [Source Theme] whose settings you have made on the Visual Design Editor will be applied and replace your current theme [Target Theme] from step 1.
- Select Clone to confirm your action.
âš Please be aware that this Cloning process is irreversible once you have completed step 4.
