How to enable the in-collection search

Enable the in-collection search

Our app allows you to configure our instant search bar on collection pages in one click. Once the feature is enabled, your customers can search for products in a specific collection on your storefront. The feature helps your customers save time and find more relevant search results.

Note: Redirect settings do not work in the instant search bar on collection pages. Moreover, data entered in the in-collection search bar will not be collected to create analytics and reports.

To configure our instant search bar on collection pages: 

  1. From the app’s admin, go to Search > Standard Search > In-collection search.
  2. Toggle ON/OFF the button Enable search products on collection page to enable/disable the feature.

  3. Under the Label heading, enter a message to your customers. This text within the search box will disappear as soon as they type within it.

  4. Click Save settings and wait about 10 minutes to let the update process finish.
