For dev - What is Theme Setup? (App Lib V2)
Theme setup allows users to choose their preferred filter tree layout and the preview theme they would like to have the filter implemented on.
It can be carried out in 02 ways: Auto-setup and Manual setup.
This instruction is appropriate for App Lib V2 only. The app lib V3 associated documents will be available soon. Please contact us for further assistance.
- Auto-setup
- For Shopify theme user: for Shopify theme user whose themes are supported in our library, which is almost all theme on the Shopify theme page. The process takes a couple of minutes only and is simple to maneuver.
- For non-Shopify theme users: since their theme is not to Shopify standard and not supported in our library, the implemented filter will get the default style. In case, the user would like to match the filter tree with their customize theme.
- Manual setup: this is for users who would like to set up the filter to their customized theme. This is more complicated compared to the Auto-setup; therefore, it's only recommended for experienced developers.
